Johannesburg areas we cover for boreholes

Find your area to read what is typical for boreholes there, and to reach the local service pages.

Four areas across Johannesburg

We connect homes, estates and businesses with borehole contractors across the Johannesburg metro. Our local pages are grouped into four areas, because properties in each tend to share the same conditions: the size of the stands, the kind of demand, and what the ground is likely to do.

Why location matters for a borehole

Borehole conditions are not the same across the city. The north, around Sandton, Fourways and Bryanston, is dominated by large stands with heavy garden and pool demand, and estates that set their own rules. Randburg and Roodepoort are older and built up, with many boreholes already in the ground and a steady demand for pump repair and servicing. The south and the East Rand mix residences with business sites, and the ground can vary more from street to street.

Each local page explains what is typical for that area and links to the services most often asked for there. We do not publish a suburb page unless we can say something specific and true about it.

Your suburb is not listed?

We take enquiries from across the metro, including suburbs without their own page. Send your details through the contact form and we will check whether a contractor covers your area. If none does, we will tell you rather than pass your details on regardless.

Tell us about the site

Send your suburb and what you need. We pass it to a vetted, consenting borehole contractor who covers your area, and the contractor quotes you directly.
